777 Scoring/Points System

Scores will be computed in the 777 Golf League using one method of competition, handicap medal play. Medal (or stroke) play is scored using total net strokes for the round. This is based on net scores (gross score adjusted for the player’s course handicap).

In medal play, all players in the pairing (fivesome, foursome, threesome or twosome) compete for low net score of the group.  Low man gets 4 points.  Anyone in the group who ties for low score gets 2 points.  All others get 0 points.

There are no "Team" competitions.

NOTE: The system CAN score a twosome or a fivesome, HOWEVER this requires manual intervention with the normal scoring routine, SO PLEASE, threesomes and foursomes ONLY!

Every player should be able to sit down at the end of a round and calculate his point total based on these rules.

If you are unable to finish your round, you will be scored as NET PAR for the unfinished holes. (Maximum of four not completed holes)
