 Cost: $63.00 which includes cart, driving range token, green fees and prize fund. Optional games (gross/net skins, deuces) are $5.00 each, the cost to be included in your entry payment!  So, if you are competing and want in all the optional games, your entry fee will be $78.00. Non-competing guest cost is $48.00.  Spouses/friends who wish to play for fun may play in groups following the tournament.  Competing guest cost is $63.00, plus the cost of any optional games.

777 2023 Field Day Memo

  • After you arrive at the course, go to the Pro Shop and check in; the course will be paid BEFORE THE 1ST TEE TIME based on the number of folks checked in.  Please check in BEFORE 8:00 AM.  If  you have car trouble or are otherwise delayed call/text me (253) 951-4588) or call the course (509) 884-4653.
  • Group picture on the putting green at 8:20!  THIS INCLUDES THOSE PLAYING FOR FUN!
  • The USGA Rules of Golf apply.  (No freebee lifts, no "foot wedges" etc.) Any exceptions (local rules) are on the course score cards, (which the tournament WILL follow) OR FOUND ON THIS LINK - READ IT!
  • The only "Tournament Rule" is if you have a disaster hole, put the ball in your pocket after 10 strokes and record a "10" and a 3-putt.
  • This is handicap stroke play - 777 member's course handicaps calculated from the indexes posted on the league web site will be updated after Aug. 13 play.  Guests using GHIN; indexes from the September 15, 2023 revision will be used.
  • Play - Handicap stroke play, all competitors play from White (middle) tees. (Those playing for fun may use any tee)
  • Flights - 2 flights, break is at >index 17.84.  Tournament pays 5 places in each flight, Least Putts in each flight.
  • Pairings - at the bottom of this memo.  I've paired members with their guests as much as possible.
  • The 1st name in each foursome is the score keeper for that group; he/she will ensure that the hole scores are accurately and LEGIBLY recorded, conflicts within the pairing are adjudicated, and putts are totaled before the card is handed in.
  • There is no penalty for arithmetic errors - I need the individual player's putts TOTAL recorded on the card, but hole scores are individually keystroked & summed electronically.
  • Hand in your score card to me (Chris) immediately following your round (before you do the trip to the parking lot to change shoes).  I'll be in the covered area adjacent to restaurant with the laptop.
  • The plan is to hand out the tournament money within 30 minutes of the last foursome handing in their card.  777 League awards will be done after this; guests may leave after tournament awards if they don't wish to be bored with league stuff.
  • I would appreciate it if someone would be kind enough to volunteer to help with the "envelope stuffing" - preferably someone who is reasonably comfortable counting money.   THIS WILL EXPEDITE YOUR DEPARTURE!!
  • Only three people allowed in the covered scoring area at one time until scoring is complete.
  • You are asked to enjoy the outside patio area or restauraunt while waiting for tournament results.
  • Feel free to take picures of the winners; forward them to me and I'll post them on the tournament page.
  • If you choose to leave immediately after you come off of the course, IT IS UP TO YOU to tell me how you want your league/tournament money handled BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE COURSE!
  • Everyone in the tournament will receive a snapshot copy of the score sheet via email within 1 day of the tournament.
